Pine tar has a long history in traditional skin and body preparations, while jewelweed is a well-known woodland botanical with a long history in traditional herbalism.

We combine these distinctive ingredients with nourishing oils and waxes to create a beautifully rustic salve for your everyday body-care collection.

Our Jewelweed organically grows on our family farm in Orono, Ontario.

 

Two very different ingredients, one wonderfully old-fashioned combination. Jewelweed is a woodland botanical with a long history in traditional herbalism, while pine tar has been used for generations in traditional soaps and skin preparations. Together, they give this salve its unmistakable apothecary character.

Warm a small amount of salve between your fingertips and apply to clean, dry skin. Massage gently until absorbed, allowing the nourishing botanical oils and butters to melt into the skin. Reapply as desired as part of your daily self-care ritual.

 

Allow the salve a moment to absorb before carrying on with your day. Replace the lid tightly and store your jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
