Sodium Bentonite Clay

Sodium bentonite has an "ABsorption" swelling ability which is why it's a great drying agent. It helps those that are using the clays to dry-oily skin. As the clay dries on your face it physically draws out moisture “impurities” which is a benefit for those who have very oily skin.

The only drawback is that the sodium clays have a High pH of 9.1 which your skin is adverse to. It is recommended to use aloe vera juice or apple cider vinegar, which is mildly acidic with a pH of 2–3. Apple cider vinegar is slightly more alkaline than pure vinegar because it contains more alkaline nutrients.
